Our Programs

Preschool Program for the 3’s Tuesday and Thursday
8:15 am - 12:30 pm with lunch

This program is designed to provide initial “transfer of trust” to a loving and nurturing experienced staff in a formal school setting.

We emphasize:

• Early socialization skills

• Cooperative play

• Structure

Children participate in meeting time/circle time, music, story time, arts and crafts, and free play time.

Pre-K Class for the 4’s and 5’s
Half day and full day options available

This program provides social skills through cooperative play, dramatic play, interactive play, negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and building and construction play.

Comprehensive Pre-K Skill Building includes:

• Letters & numbers

• Colors

• Rhyming and opposites

• Sequence & patterns

• Mazes and dot to dots

• Name writing

• Drawing

• Children will learn self-awareness, independence, science fun, math concepts, listening skills/comprehension, language development, and creative artistic expression

2-Day, 3-Day, and 5-Day Options Available
9-Month Program Year

We operate on a 9-month school calendar, observing the North Haven Public School vacations and holidays.

Options are available for the 4’s and 5’s to attend a half-day program (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 - 12:30 with lunch)

or to attend a full-day program

(Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 - 2:15

Students may also elect to attend all 5-days. Contact the Director for more information.
